Fibre Channel Over Ethernet Whitepapers and Ebooks

Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocol enables Fiber Channel(FC) data frame transmission over traditional Ethernet network.  FCoE reduces expensive fiber cables and special interface cards required by Fiber Channel Storage Area Networks (SAN).  Though FCoE requires Gigabit Ethernet network the 5 to 7 percent cost reduction in the datacenter rack-implementation phase makes this technology compelling.
